Brahms: The Piano Concertos and RUSH

On 28 February two of our artists will be releasing new albums! Herbert Schuch's Brahms: The Piano Concertos (naïve) and Juri Vallentin's RUSH (Berlin Classics).

Together with the Bochumer Symphoniker under the direction of Tung-Chieh Chuang, Herbert Schuch presents an extraordinary live recording of the two piano concertos by Johannes Brahms. He complements these concertos with songs, piano pieces, dances and waltzes by Brahms – some of them together with his duo partner Gülru Ensari.

Juri Vallentin manages to span a wide range of styles from baroque to pop on his recording together with the chamber orchestra ensemble reflektor. Here he discovers remarkable similarities in form and content among the works extending from Antonio Vivaldi to Billie Eilish.
